Temperament Hiszpanii, urok Indii
(...) Druga edycja krakowskiego festiwalu, poświęconego muzyce flamenco nuevo, dobiegła końca. Na finał zabrzmiał wielki koncert Madre Tierra w Filharmonii im. K. Szymanowskiego. Według zapowiedzi organizatorów, w planach na następną edycję festiwalu jest muzyka Wschodu, wędrująca aż do naszego regionu geograficznego. Jeśli ponownie, jak w przypadku tegorocznego festiwalu, znaleziony zostanie klucz łączący wewnętrznie zróżnicowany gatunek w bardzo logiczną całość – już teraz możemy się przygotować na kolejny, trzeci sukces.

A day before the festival
Nuevo Mundo Festival 2009 press conference was held yesterday in Pawilon Wyspański in the centre of Kraków. Grzegorz Frankowski, artistic director presented to the media the program of the festival in details and introduced atrists that will be performing during 4-day long event.

NMF 2009 – FLAMENCO NUEVO
Flamenco is a sort of culture as well. It appeared many years ago in Andalusia –region in southern Spain, which for centuries was influenced by different nations and countries.
There, as a result of interacting and mixing of diverse traditions, at the beginning of the 19th century appeared a very mysterious and extremely expressive music genre that is known today as flamenco.
